A windy day and windmills.

Evening walk and drink 🥤 

Today, the temperature is back to normal after a very hot and stormy night. We had our breakfast with local cheese and ham, apple juice, coffee ( very good coffee) bred with homemade rhubarb jam and scrambled eggs 🥚 

I did not have lunch it was enough for the day. We will have supper at the hotel.

Then we went in a brocante I saw on our local tv. It is a nice place with lots of antiques and vintage stuff.

I bought the doll coffee set at the back on the right. It dates back around 1940. I have already two from my mother. I also found some vintage photos.

We will have a short rest, before a walk by the sea and supper at the hotel tonight .

A day outside in Nature.

This is our dinner Schnitzel with salad and frozen yogurt with fruits.

We had a busy afternoon and the whole day we have walked 12 km. It is hard for me since my spine cord surgery but each day I remember I am not in a wheelchair and it pushes me to go further. It is sometimes very painful but I don’t want give up!

So I have been walking in the sea for about two kms for my feet and my legs and then walked on the beach a long time. We went to a  bird sanctuary called Zwin park. It is over 86 hectares.

After supper we did a long walk with the sunset heard a woodpecker and the cuckoo.

I love thé walks in the Netherlands , unfortunately I cannot ride a bicycle anymore. We cross lots and lots of bicycles, some with trailers and children inside and others with dogs inside both I found  super 👍 

I bought my favourite decoration magazines ( even if I don’t read Dutch) this is what I do when I come here and buy some cheese and we go to the outlets in the town buy some shoes we only get here.

Before going home!

This morning before we go we had our breakfast on these two trolleys. I like the decoration of the breakfast 

Room it is authentic ! 

The lady gave me some more decoration magazines this morning , a lot!

We enjoyed our stay and breakfast and will return soon!

We needed some fresh air by the sea.

This is were we are having lunch on the beach.

 Then we must go home and about 4 hours drive!
