Somebody asked me a picture of our home. So this morning I went out to take pictures and look at the moles heap to take them off before the robot cut the grass.
This Saturday we must clean the terrace and we decided to re organise the garden.đȘŽ
This is the white rose bush on my garden shed
The entire house but hidden by bushes. Three windows upstairs typical of Normand houses. It will be warm but not with a blue sky today!
This is a 70’s house copying Normand houses. On the right side there is a balcony and the special roof particularity of Normand houses.
This is the rose bush near the window shutter
My beloved “Pierre de Ronsard” I like his poem: Mignonne, allons voir si la rose…”
It’s coming up the arch now.
Today, is the beginning of the coming very hot day coming from Sahara the sky should be full of sand and orange in some places! Better take the car in the garage!

We will have sand everywhere on the roof windows…
Tonight we will move the furniture for tomorrow stove installation. We won’t have the downstairs AC installed yet for the heat wave it will be done end of June unfortunately.
I am thinking about how to re structure the garden a little
In September we will have the garage door changed and next will be the gate. I chose gray colour for the door and it will match the gate. I don’t particularly like gray but
If we decide to move one day it is a modern colour young people like. And an electric door to be easier for us.
This is what we have decided for the moment!
Better go and put the car in the garage now!
So I wish you a nice day and thank you for your visits!

Dear Catherine, the heat will reach Hungary soon ( is it here?), the weather forecast says so. Right now it's 42.1C on my sunny balcony.
RépondreSupprimerYou have a lot of work to do.
I live in an apartment not a house, and as you may know, I don't have a garden either. I have less work to do. My apartment once had a major renovation, and I don't want to do anything with it in the near future.
Your house is very beautiful, cozy, I know it's good to live there. Your roses always catch my eye.
Gray is a good choice, because it can be in harmony with all other colors.
Thank you for the walk in your garden and the view of the house.
I hug you with love. Ăva
Your home is beautiful and so are your gardens. The roses are stunning.
RépondreSupprimerThe new electric garage door will be so nice for you!
Your home is fantastic. I knew it would be. How long have you been there. Seems you are updating some of the equipment. You have a robot to do the lawn? And the sand from the Sahara is blowing on your house? And it gets really hot. I didn't know any of that. Beautiful Normandy home with pretty flowers.
RépondreSupprimerYou have a lovely home! You also have quite a lot of grass to cut!!
RépondreSupprimerThe roses are beautiful especially the white one which is so full of flowers!!
My Pierre de Ronsard is in bud still but I do hope he will flower soon. Your home is so typically Normand, we often journeyed in Normandy and loved it.
RĂ©pondreSupprimerHow lovely—the roses are already blooming at your place! At mine, they don't bloom until June.
RépondreSupprimerYour house is beautiful; I really like the roof design, with its dormers and the overhang sheltering the small balcony.
Sending you cheerful greetings in your beautiful rose garden.
