I nearly painted and did wallpaper in all our rooms by myself.( some years ago)
I had to test the stove yesterday with doors open because it is new and it’s better to do it in spring or summer.
In the evening I closed doors and windows and I could reach 22 C degrees, which is good considering that we have an open staircase. I had a terrible headache as they used a very noisy tool to take some bricks out of the fireplace to get the pipe into the chimney, but I slept well and feel better this morning!
Today, I must do grocery shopping and tomorrow we have to do the terrace cleanup but as it will be hot it will be nice to use fresh water. It will take us the whole day!
So I wish you a nice weekend! Ours will be hot 30C!
It's quite cool here again. Temp is 11 degrees Cel. Supposed to warm up next week.

Hello Catherine, If a flower falls from somewhere, I always save it and put it in water so that it can live longer. I have found flowers that have fallen on the sidewalk on the street several times, and I have brought them home too.

It's good that you were able to sleep at night with your headache gone. When they renovated my apartment, they also drilled concrete. Ahhh, what a sound it made!
Monday is a holiday here too, the shops will be closed, so I should go shopping tomorrow. Perhaps I do not have to go anywhere, because I have everything I need at home until Tuesday. I'm still thinking about it.
I don't feel like going out, the temperature will be over 30C here too. It's not good for me in May when it's so warm.

You did a beautiful job on that bedroom. Looks like a girl - very delicate. You are having some major work done - it will be worth it in the end but hard to go through.
