I am waiting for Ikea delivery and before I can’t go out during the afternoon
Because of the TOO much heat I went in the garden to have a look at the roses.
This is a rose year! Many, many of them! I particularly love my Pierre de Ronsard
It is really difficult to work in the house with such a heatwave and we both are very tired.
Fortunately we sleep well with the AC upstairs
But when I have to go grocery shopping it is difficult. I will go further tomorrow but Lidl shop opens at half past eight before the other ones and it should be cooler.
We will have thunderstorm as usual and after the heat dome temperatures will go down on Sunday đźđš hope so!
I am waiting for cooler weather on Sunday! Not feeling too well. 39 degrees C in some places !

Dear Catherine, oh, how beautiful roses you have. There are so many of them and I like their color. Pink is not my favorite one, but when it comes to flowers, I like this color too.
RĂ©pondreSupprimerIt's hot here too, and I'm not comfortable in this heat. I do not fell well. Today around 10 o'clock it was 50C on my sunny balcony. Now it's "only" 32C in the shade.
I wanted to go to the pharmacy and a store, but I didn't go. Not because of the heat or lack of time, I just didn't feel like getting dressed and leaving my apartment. I have to go to both places tomorrow, no excuses.
The store closest to me opens at 6:00, but I won't get up that early.
A cold front will arrive tonight with rain, lightning and thundering. Tomorrow it will be 25:00C. Hurray!

Catherine, your roses are so beautiful! I love pink roses especially. They have an old fashioned feel to me.

Such exquisite roses. My Pierre is not doing well. I dont think he like Cornwall, whereas when we lived in Brittany he was covered in flowers.
