Cocooning

Hello Friends!
I had my morning visitors today!
Yesterday I rescued my red robin who bumped into the window and was on the ground not feeling well. I put it in a card board box a little one that was containing my sweet potatoes. I have kept him on my side talked to him for about one hour inside . Before it was dark and by the time birds are going to sleep I have put the box open outside and I was happy to see him flying away.
He cooperated and was very calm listening to me.
It was a nice time in my day!
This afternoon will be calm knitting by the fire and drinking my coffee with a Fall chocolate from Belgium
This is one of my favourite cups and saucers

The weather becomes colder and I lit the fire this morning the temperature inside by the fire is 21.5 degrees C and about 19 in the rest of the house.

At the same time I am watching the midday news of my country!
I wish you a nice day. đŸ„°

  1. The photos are lovely, and you did a lot for that robin. It’s good to know it survived the accident and flew away thanks in part to your care.
Your photos have such a wonderful atmosphere; the fire, the peacefulness of the knitting, and that beautiful teacup. And of course, the sight of the Belgian chocolate. It is delicious.
Masato has gone out for a bike ride, the weather is nice and the sun is shining. I’m not sure what the temperature is, but I’m wearing summer clothes indoors, the sun shines into Martin’s room in the afternoon and warms it up.
Take care of yourself. I’m following the events in France, and it’s all very distressing. Hugs. Eva
