A manor in Normandy.

 A beautiful manor in Normandy! Saint Germain de Livet 

Is a manor in Normandy. It is built in two parts, the wooden part in the 15th C and the brick part in the 16th C.

The painter Eugene Delacroix stayed in the yellow bedroom.

This is a nice place to visit, a very quiet place with a garden and a small river.

There are also white peacocks and fishes in the  manor moats.

I hope you enjoyed the visit.

Upcycling in the forest.

Today, we went to have a walk in the forest.

It was very hot and difficult for me to walk, but I made it!

Then we had our lunch at a terrace. I had Caesar salad and lemon cheese cake.

Now we are up  to Rouen to do shopping and my son must have his  COVID test before going back to Dubai.

Disney park Paris.

 

Hello Friends,

My son and his wife have arrived in Paris last night and are spending some time in Disney park Paris.

We used to go there a lot when they were little and we also used to spend Christmas Day there.

Back to childhood! Far from a very serious and stressful work!

Happy to see them tomorrow after one year!

This morning, cooking and watching the parade in Paris.

I have just made an apricot Charlotte, just a little bit more cooking for tomorrow and I will be ready!

This and that…

 Today, I went early shopping, because tomorrow is July 14th.

Tomorrow morning will be the military parade in Paris.

Tonight and tomorrow night there will be fire works in the big towns. 

I went shopping for a barbecue and an apricot Charlotte.

Everybody this morning was talking about the bad weather, but everybody is doing barbecue in his garage or under any shelter!

The pictures are bits and pieces I found and painted white.

The skittles are vintage , the blue tit and mushrooms are felted wool I made.

Now I am going to prepare dishes for tomorrow and for Saturday my son’s arrival.
