Hello Friends!
After a very windy night, followed by a very windy day! 😂! I think all of us had a rough night except Mr L!
We were few people for breakfast at 9 very unusual… the first picture is the breakfast buffet where we can make our pan cakes with a special machine, enjoy all the local goodies!
Then we left for Breskens where there is a ferry that goes on the peninsula to Vlissingen between Escaut river and North Sea. ( 1rst picture) and walked a lot in the wind by the sea!
Our room. I chose a room with no balcony this time because they are the only ones with AC. Last year it was 30C outside and we have been too hot.🥵
In most hotels we went there was a bathtub in the room and separate walk in shower and washbasin.
We have got seaweeds and sea salt for us to take a bath!
This hotel has a swimming pool pool, sauna and a spa.
I could reserved a parking place for disabled all along our stay which is very convenient for me. I use my rolling walker (and now got my rolling walker driving licence! 😂) I walk twice faster and for the moment it is helping a lot until I get better. We walk 5 or 6 kms everyday but it is difficult when facing the wind 💨 !!

Oh Catherine, it sounds like you're having a wonderful trip. The food looks absolutely delicious and the views & your room do too. I listened to your video clip, with my headphones on, and oh my gosh....the wind!!!! I'm surprised it didn't blow you over. *haha* Love, Andrea xoxo

What a wonderful day — even with all that wind! The ferry ride sounds like such a nice adventure, and walking by the sea must have been refreshing. I love the idea of sea salt and seaweed baths, how relaxing! I hope your dinner with fresh fish was just as amazing as it sounds.
