A gloomy day! But…

Hello, hello!
During the  gloominess of our country, we decided to go out see our favourite shops in quite  little towns.
First we went to a perfume shop, then my two clothes shops. On of them is belonging to a friend of mine. In one I found a pair of trousers that needed to be shortened by a seamstress, I will get it next Saturday. Then we had a latte Machiato
And a small chestnut biscuit. 🍪
At my friend shop I found a kaki corduroy
pair of trousers and jacket.
We went to a big bookstore and I found two books and my husband one.
We left this town and went to the other one to have a latte coffee and eggy bread with vanilla ice cream and amaretto! So good.😊
We had a light lunch of my carrots soup and yogurt for lunch!

The best part of the day was at the gas station!
Have you ever seen such a shirt!
It is so gloomy 🙁 but look at that! Full of colours!

“ Peace and Love”❤️ do you remember these years? Enjoy this beautiful shirt!!!

( by the way the storm is now going north)

  1. There is one thing for which I truly envy you in a good way: the bookstore. It’s been a long time since I was there. Not because I’m not interested, but because it would require having good legs and a healthy spine.
I even envy you for the eggy bread. We don't eat it with something sweet, but lwith little salt or simply on its own. We have hot lemon tea with it.
It varies from country to country, it just depends on what one is used to or prefers.
Peace and love? Yes, I remember those years!

  2. It sounds like you made the most of the gloomy day! Glad you found some good things and enjoyed that colorful shirt. I do remember peace and love. :)
Here it was such a beautiful day! We knew we had to take advantage of it, because soon the snow will fall. We took a little drive and enjoyed the Fall colors, then stopped for supper before driving home on country roads. Lovely!
