Today it is very, very hot here!
I am going to stay inside. ( blogger is a bit difficult to use these days have you noticed?)
Well, today I was remembering visiting an exhibition in the American museum at Giverny about motherhood.
I love this painting by an American woman “Mary Louise Fairchild” from Connecticut . I love everything, the lilies in back ground and the freshness of the scene with the mother and child. I fell in love with this painting and I wanted to share it with you today.
Hope you had a nice visit!

The Impressionists are my favorites and Mary Louise Fairchild also painted in this style. Since you wrote about her, I looked up what written is about her online. It's good that you posted a picture of the whole painting, but also details.
RépondreSupprimerYou showed some nice pictures of the place, my favorite is the open window that looks out onto the garden.I like the others too.
We went out to have lunch at the restaurant where we can eat really good fish. It was delicious, but it was hot outside. When we got into the car parked in the sun, the thermometer showed 40C. It took a few minutes for the AC to cool the hot air in the car.
I didn't feel like going anywhere, we came home.
Where is autumn yet???
The waitress at the restaurant asked how we were coping with the heat. My answer was clear: "We're having a hard time with it".
I wish you all the best for the weekend Sunday as well. Hugs.
