This weekend has been busy. We had our daughter and husband Saturday evening and had a Birthday supper for our SIL, then they stayed for the night had breakfast before the beginning of the race.
Our daughter did better than last year and 12 of her friends have participated . After the race she had a shower and they went to have a brunch together in a restaurant.
On Saturday we decided to to go out to my friend shop
And I found this granny square cardigan to wear with my navy blue linen dress.
This week will be a busy one as I have many appointments. I am anticipating the problems that we are going to have to get gasoline and oil for our boiler.
I am also preparing in case our son and family arrive these coming days or weeks.
We decided that we are not going out anymore during the weekend for the moment we will continue our house cleaning and tidying and then clean the garden instead!
I hope we “ALL” have better days!

Your weekend was busy, but there was joy in it, because you were able to celebrate.
RépondreSupprimerCongratulations to your daughter on her better result.
If your son does arrive with his family, they will be safe, and that will give you peace of mind.
I was only out on Saturday over the weekend, and even then not much. It was cold with rain and a stormy wind. We went to our favorite place for lunch, and we were only in the cold until we got into the restaurant from the nearby parking lot.
You will have a lot of work again this week.
After I finish my coffee, I have to go to the post office even though it is cold outside!
Thank you for wishing us a good week, I need one too.
Hugs. Éva
Hi Catherine, this is Mari. Once again I'm having trouble signing in with Google - not just on your site.
RépondreSupprimerAnyway, glad to hear your daughter did so well.
You did well with the shopping. It looks very nice!
I'm glad you are planning ahead and I hope things start improving, but it's good to have a plan for your son and family.
Dear Catherine, thank you for writing in my blog. I replied to you so that you can understand me better!
RépondreSupprimerOf course, only read it if you have the time and energy.
With love. Éva
