Guess what I am watching? Hercule poirot’s Christmas!
On Saturday we are going to Saint Lucie at the Abbey I have made the reservation. Some Swedish students who are learning in Paris are coming they’ll sing and we will make a proxy in the Abbey then gather inside to have Swedish hot Christmas wine and special buns Lussekatters and the wine is glogg. I think it will be a nice Christmas Advent time!

I have also baked some new cookies and tomorrow I must get little bags to give our friends. Make tags and tie them ready to give!
This is all for today and I will finish my Hercule Poirot episode in my armchair and relax ☺️thank you for coming!

I didn't know that Poirot had a Christmas special. We love that show and will have to look for it.

Hello Catherine, nice programs are waiting for you in this pre-Christmas period. I have heard about that nice Swedish custom but I have never seen it and been in it. You will definitely write about it.
RépondreSupprimerI also like watching Poirot. It is not violent but a soothing crime story. I saw Poirot film a long time ago.
I can definitely watch it on one of the channels, I just have to find it among the many.
Today I gave myself something: deserved time. I was in a cafe, ate a cake, drank coffee and looked at the cafe lights. Sometimes we need to give ourselves time and enjoy something.
Hugs. Éva
Bonjour Catherine,
RépondreSupprimerI did not know that there was a Hercule Christmas movie. I'll look for it.
Saturday in the Abbey sounds lovely. Which Abbey is it? We visited Jumièges and Saint-Wandrille when we were in Normandy. Beautiful ruins and stories there.
Cookies are being baked here, too.
Enjoy your day.
I baked cookies all day today too!
RépondreSupprimerYour cookies look very good, Catherine!
RépondreSupprimerI'm glad you mentioned Poirot's Christmas because now I'll look it up.
RépondreSupprimerSaturday at the Abbey sounds like such an enjoyable time.
I baked a Christmas cake today, it seems to be a baking day. I knew about the St Lucia day but can't remember any details so look forward to you telling us about it. Enjoy your visit to the Abbey.
RépondreSupprimerCookies look good. Happy Christmas.
