This and that day.

Hello Friends!
This morning the weather is fine, but it won’t last we will have soon rain.
This morning I had to use some pears 🍐 I had in my kitchen and decided to have a look for a light muffin pear recipe on the net.
So first I baked my muffins and now they are ready for Mr L. The last night pie was delicious it was a creation of mine using what I had in the fridge. Chicken, endives and onions.🧅
This is a vintage “Bol” here we drink our morning coffee in such a Bol.they must be back to the 50’s

I found this plate and had a similar one when I was a child.

One of my teachers pot a Christmas one I bought years ago in England it is a Sadler one and is numbered.

Now I must go and get ready to go shopping 🛒 as I forgot something as usual even when I make a shopping list…

Have a nice day or evening. Thank you for visiting!

  1. I love old cups and plates. If they are old, I like the decoration on them that looks old.
It is good to eat muffins. I am sure that Mr L was happy with it, and it was nice to eat it together.
Sometimes I write a shopping list, sometimes I don’t. I usually know what I want to buy. If I feel like I won’t remember everything, I make a list. It is useful! Hugs. Éva

  3. Hello Catherine,

The vintage china Bols look very pretty and one can well imagine as a child being fascinated by the 'stories' being told on the sides. There does seem something particularly French in drinking morning coffee or chocolate from a Bol. Now, perhaps, we should give it a try ....

  6. Your pear muffins look and sound really good. I like your cow coffee bowls. I like my coffee really hot though so I need a handle. :-)

  7. Your pear muffins look delicious. What pretty coffee bowls, I'd probably drink chocolate from them as I don't like coffee. Old dishes are so pretty.
I usually forget something from the store, too, and have to go back again.
