Hello Friends !
When it’s so hot 🥵 (around 35C today) the hottest day of the week a place to be cool is a cathedral or a church !
I remember staying in Germany during the Summer holidays and visiting Koln (Cologne) it was so hot that I stayed most of the afternoon in the beautiful cathedral.
Very big and beautiful with a big garden around.

And finally I found this picture on facebook. A farmer had the idea to protect his cows from the heat, a good idea!
This afternoon I unfortunately have to go out to have a foot X ray before the MIR . It is very painful for me to walk for the moment and I will have no choice but to use a wheelchair for long walks when our son will arrive soon. I will get it on Saturday. Better a wheelchair than stay inside! We will see what’s wrong and hope my problem can be solved…
Thank you for coming.
The architecture of those buildings is just gorgeous!
RépondreSupprimerI'm sorry about your foot. Will be praying they find the issue.
I'm so happy to read that your son is coming - and Maxime and William!!!
It's hot here too. I cannot imagine how the cows feel in this heat!
RépondreSupprimerThe architecture is amazing. I always wonder how they built those things so long ago.
I love your photos, Catherine! The architecture is captivating and amazing! I hope your pain subsides, I will keep you in my thoughts.
RépondreSupprimerI love cows and the heat we get here in Montreal with the humidity is very dangerous for people and animals.
I agree. Better to join in in a wheelchair than miss the walk. I hope the X-ray shows why your foot is causing a problem.
RépondreSupprimerSorry to hear about your painful foot. I hope you get an answer soon.
RépondreSupprimerI like the cow shelter!
Old stone cathedrals are lovely cool in summer but hard to warm up in winter.
Wasn't that one building a gorgeous church? I am sorry to hear about your foot. I am glad you got a wheelchair so you can get out.
